Serve, Smash, and Support! Greater Fayetteville Military Affairs Council Hosts Pickleball 

Tournament and Operation Patriot Pantry Drive on June 6


FAYETTEVILLE, NC — The Greater Fayetteville Chamber Military Affairs Council will host the 2nd Annual MAC Pickleball Tournament and Operation Patriot Pantry on Saturday, June 6. Combining competitive play with vital community support, the event will be held at the Fayetteville Technical 

Community College Pickleball Courts on the FTCC Main Campus.


The Military Affairs Council (MAC) of the Greater Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce is building a bridge between the Cumberland County business community and the military installations that surround it. Proceeds from this tournament will benefit the Military Affairs Council and Military Related Scholarships at FTCC.


Event Details:

● Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026

● Location: FTCC Pickleball Courts, Fayetteville, NC

● Time: Play begins at 9 a.m.

● Format: Doubles Round Robin (Men's, Women's, and Mixed Divisions)

● Skill Levels: 2.5–3.0 and 3.5+

● Entry: $35 per person


“This tournament is an amazing way to bring our community together while directly assisting our service members and their families,” said Rob Patton, Military Affairs Council Chair. “Between the friendly competition and our Operation Patriot Pantry drive, we can all rally around the heroes who 

give so much for our country.”


Operation Patriot Pantry ‘Fill the Truck’ Drive:


In conjunction with the tournament, MAC is hosting the Operation Patriot Pantry initiative to "Fill the Truck" for the Armed Services YMCA. Attendees, players, and local citizens are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable food and essential supplies.


Most-needed items include:

Canned meats, vegetables, and fruits

Boxed meals, rice, and pasta
Peanut butter and cereal
Baby food and formula
Toiletries and hygiene products



To incentivize giving, the first 250 donors will receive a free appetizer courtesy of Texas Roadhouse.  If you want to play pickleball, register here:

This community-focused event highlights Fayetteville’s status as a premier military-supporting city. Proceeds from the tournament benefit MAC programs and military-related scholarships at FTCC. Active-duty military players are highly encouraged to participate.
